Are there vehicles parked on your block that never move?
Mpls. Ord. 478.250 states: Parking for over 72 consecutive hours on a public street is prohibited.

Are vehicles parking too close to the alley and making it difficult to pull out?
Mpls. Ord. 478.90 states: Parking within 5 of an alley, driveway, or on a sidewalk or boulevard is prohibited.

Are there vehicles parked on your street that
are a hazard?

Mpls. Ord. 478.250 states: Vehicles missing vital
component parts are prohibited

Other non-moving vehicle issues on city streets and alleys:
Mpls. Ord. 478.80 states: No person shall wash, grease or
repair a vehicle upon a street or highway, except such repairs as are
necessitated by an emergency.

Mpls. Ord. 478.70 states: Vehicles displayed for sale on public street prohibited.

Mpls. Ord. 478.90 states: Parking within 10 of a fire hydrant, 20 of a driveway and 30 of a traffic signal or stop sign is prohibited.

Mpls. Ord. 478.240 states: Parking of overweight and/or commercial vehicles is prohibited.

How to report violations:
♦ Call Traffic Control/Parking Enforcement (612-335-5932) for any non-moving vehicle violations.
♦ Call Minneapolis Mediation Program (612-822-9883) if there are on-going parking disputes
between two neighbors.
♦ Call Community Crime Prevention/SAFE for block or neighborhood crime/safety/livability
concerns.
