Here is a link to submit an online police report.

http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/e-report/prequalification.asp
These are the types of incidents you can report online:

Theft
Theft from Motor Vehicle
Lost Property
Damage to Property
Damage to Motor Vehicle

*If you have possible suspect information, the Minneapolis 311 Call Center can take the report by phone for the five incident types listed above plus several other non-emergency incidents.

Make sure you have all the information you need to submit your report

Not sure? See below for examples of the information youíll be asked to provide in your report.

E-Report will ask Ö

When it happened (date and time)
Where it happened (street location in Minneapolis)
Building address or closest intersection
Who is reporting (your identity)
Name, contact information, State Driverís License or ID number
Who owns the property involved
Name and contact information
What was lost, stolen or damaged
Vehicles: Make, Model, Color, License Plate Number, etc.

(Do not use E-Report to report a stolen vehicle. Unless the auto theft is in progress, first contact the Minneapolis Impound Lot at 612-673-5777 or http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/impound-lot/. If a crime is in progress, call 9-1-1.)
Property other than vehicles: Serial Number, Product Name, Manufacturer, Description, Condition, etc
